Who is Chris?

God definitely has a sense of humor.

My name is Chris Herning. I lead the high school community at Vineyard.
When I was in high school, no one (including me) would have predicted I would end up where I am now. At one time I swore I would never be "converted" and I would never set foot in a church again.
Here I am working at a church and the best thing that ever has happened to me is finding a life changing relationship with God my senior year of high school.
I've been here at Vineyard since 1994. I'm married w/ 3 kids and live in Chicago.
In addition to running our high school group, VisionQuest; I also run the junior high youth group here and oversee our rock shows.
